Annie Mist Thorisdottir has been an elite CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the only woman to be crowned the winner of at the CrossFit Games twice. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir, the Icelandic CrossFit weightlifter, media celebrity and CrossFit competitors - is an Icelandic CrossFit athlete from Iceland. The media acclaim came from her becoming the first woman to be the first person who been awarded two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. She is also known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and in 2017. Annie, along with her parents and siblings were born and raised in Reykjavik Iceland. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from when she was a young age. She took part for the first time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games held in California in which she performed extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 (as 2021). She is 5'7" tall and weighs around 67kg. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She was able to perform very well in the initial contests. She placed in the Top 10 among over 70. Although she didn't achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. under the direction of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded the same silver medal year. After a year of CrossFit Games Annie took home her first CrossFit Games. Her dominant display was enough to earn her the title. Annie took home another gold medal at during the CrossFit Games in 2012 due her impressive performance. She was the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of two CrossFit Games at once. Besides this in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and in the year 2021 she won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Presently Annie works as a trainer and coach with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. After gaining fame as an athlete, Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance the Nuun Hydration Periodization Sidekick and many others. Her own Youtube channel named "Annie" that has over 3000 viewers. These include videos on training diets and family life.
