Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise (born Tina Louise) is a American writer, performer and performer best known for playing Ginger Grant in Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s she began her acting career on stage for Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. In 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway with Li'l Abner. She also released her first album of music, It's Time For Tina in the same year. Louise began her journey into Hollywood as Griselda Walden on God's little Acre a drama film released 1958.The film was praised widely as well as Louise was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the Year category. While students at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her work with ease with a variety of roles between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber characters as contrasted to her perception of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary but she also was an effective television director in several series including Supernatural & The 100. The family she was born into moved from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for childhood and adolescence. Her home was in Vancouver when she was chosen to play Samantha Carter.
