Zoe-perry
Perry was born to Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first TV roles included two roles on the show as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne as the character played by her mom. Her parents, however, were not keen to let her perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry shy and shy for acting in high school, started to act at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry left for New York, where she was offered small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. The feeling of homesickness led Perry back to California and theater roles were in demand. The Other Place was performed by her and her mom on Broadway in 2013. In 2015, she appeared together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry was in nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family during 2016. Perry was a regular character in the ABC political drama Scandal, starring her dad. She played the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off episode of CBS's The Big Bang Theory was an additional portrayal that was younger of her mother. She was cast in the role by auditioning for an open role despite having a connection to the character.
