Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actress singer and songwriter. Her mother raised her in the USA in a place where she endured several racial stereotypes, which made her feel like someone who was not wanted. When she was in 9th grade she started to feel more comfortable after she was acknowledged by her teachers as a success for singing at a school's audition. The part in The Lad of The Lake became her greatest breakthrough, bringing her an award called the Tony Award in addition to praise from critics for her performance. The following year she was cast in the role of the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame.
